The Kansas City Royals can guarantee at least a draw in their series against the Texas Rangers as they take the diamond for the third game of the four-game set on Wednesday. K.C. took the second game thanks to Jeremy Guthrie, after the Rangers won the series opener
Texas will send former Cubs hurler Ryan Dempster (4-1, 4.58 ERA with the Rangers) to the mound to face off against Everett Teaford (1-3, 4.30 ERA) from the Royals. Dempster has been enjoying his time with the Rangers since being traded at the deadline, picking up three wins in his last three games while loading up on strikeouts.Teaford will be making his first start for the Royals since July 8, following eight straight bullpen appearances for the lefty.
The game will be at Kauffman Stadium at 7:10 p.m. CT.
