EA Sports FIFA 13 Opens Cover Voting Featuring Jimmy Nielsen

Much similar to their successful Madden franchise, EA Sports recently announced that MLS fans would be able to vote for which players will appear on a downloadable cover for the new FIFA 13 game.

Sporting Kansas City is represented by Danish goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, who now has a chance at one of three remaining spots when the voting begins Saturday.

The downloadable cover will be revealed during the game's launch party on Sept. 24 in New York City and fans who participate in the voting will have a chance to win two tickets to the Sideline FIFA Lounge at the 2012 MLS Cup.

Nielsen, who won the 1998 and 2004 Danish Goalkeeper of the Year award, played in 27 games last season, earning a record of 15-7-5 with his 57 saves. He was also named the Wizards most valuable player in 2011 after bailing out the club on more than one occasion with a collection spectacular saves.

Fans who are are interested in voting for Nielsen can do exactly that by following this link.
