Savannah St. never really had a chance against Oklahoma St., but nobody thought it would finish 84-0. To say that the Cowboys would be an understatement, but that won't be the case this week when they head west to take on Arizona.
The Wildcats are in a state of transition under new head coach Rich Rodriguez. He's bringing his spread option offense to Arizona and while they have a quarterback who fits the system in Matt Scott, the rest of the pieces aren't quite there yet and it showed in their opener when it took overtime for them to beat Toledo.
These two teams do have history, playing in each of the last two years and the Cowboys have won them both. First they beat the Wildcats in the 2010 Alamo Bowl 36-10 and then won 37-14 in Stillwater last year.
But those games didn't come on the road with a freshman quarterback who has never played away from Stillwater before. That will be the challenge for Oklahoma St. and Wes Lunt when they walk into Arizona Stadium on Saturday night.
