The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers will arrive in New Orleans well before kickoff of Super Bowl XLVII, but that doesn't mean they'll have free time on their hands. As always, the week leading up to the Super Bowl is packed with events.

San Francisco will arrive in New Orleans on Sunday, with Baltimore coming into town on Monday. Both teams will kick off Super Bowl week with media day on Tuesday. Each team will spend an hour in front of hundreds of media members. The 49ers will be first to meet with the reporters, beginning at 11 a.m. ET. The Ravens take their turn a hour later. If media day and the other press conferences aren't enough, Jim and John Harbaugh will make Super Bowl history when they hold the first joint press conference on Friday, Feb. 1.
There will also be plenty of activity away from the field. In addition to the Hall of Fame luncheon next Friday, VH1 will host the Best Super Bowl Concert Ever that night, beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The musical performances will continue all the way through halftime of the game. Alicia Keys will perform the National Anthem, while Beyonce will be joined by the members of Destiny's Child for the Super Bowl halftime show.
The complete list of Super Bowl events can be found on the official website of Super Bowl XLVII.
