The Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. will host second and third round games in the NCAA Tournament, and the Kansas Jayhawks and the Kansas State Wildcats will open the tournament at the Sprint Center.
The Jayhawks are the No. 1 seed in the South Region, and they will open the tournament against the No. 16 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. If they win their second round game, they will face the winner between the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels and the No. 9 Villanova Wildcats in the third round.
Kansas State is the No. 4 seed in the West region, and will either face the Boise State Broncos or the La Salle Explorers in the second round of the tournament. If they win their second-round game, they will face the winner of the No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers against the No. 12 Mississippi Rebels game in the third round.
The Missouri Tigers are also in the NCAA tournament. They are the No. 9 seed in the West region, and will play the No. 8 Colorado State Rams in Lexington, Ky. If they advance to the third round, they will likely meet the No. 1 Louisville Cardinals.
