It's been quite a start for the Kansas City Chiefs rookies.
First there was Javier Arenas showing us his return skills in the preseason. Then it was Dexter McCluster doing it in Week 1 to take home the NFL rookie of the week award. Then it was Tony Moeaki and his incredible one-handed touchdown catch to help the Chiefs beat the 49ers in Week 3.
For that, Moeaki has been recognized.
The NFL announced on Friday that Moeaki has won the league's rookie of the week award.
He becomes the second Chief (after McCluster) to take home the award.
Other nominees included: quarterback Sam Bradford of the St. Louis Rams, tight end Aaron Hernandez of the New England Patriots, running back C.J. Spiller of the Buffalo Bills, and free safety Earl Thomas of the Seattle Seahawks.
What a start for the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs rookie class.
And we still haven't seen any hardware for Eric Berry or Javier Arenas (or Kendrick Lewis).
