On Sunday against the Colts, Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe dropped a couple of key passes including what would have been the go-ahead touchdown.
That's caused a lot of Chiefs fans and media to wonder Bowe's future on the team. Would he be someone the Chiefs would trade? If you believe Chiefs coach Todd Haley, who praised Bowe on Monday, Bowe isn't going anywhere.
"We have won with Dwayne and we will continue to win with Dwayne."
It sounds like the Chiefs coach is serious about Dwayne Bowe in 2010 and beyond. At least that's the way it sounds. Not all coaches are 100 percent honest while speaking to the media.
I do wonder sometimes if the Chiefs will try to trade Bowe this year or next before his contract ends. I'm not sure that they view him as a long-term part of the future so, as the Patriots have shown, maybe they should trade the player while you can still get draft picks out of them.
