Fantasy Football, Week 8: Dexter McCluster's Ankle Injury Continuing To Limit Him

The Kansas City Chiefs have a game on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills but more importantly your fantasy team has a game on Sunday. If Dexter McCluster is on your team then you're going to want to pay close attention to his status because he's definitely still up in the air.

McCluster appeared to be a limited participant in practice on Thursday, according to Kent Babb of the KC Star. McCluster left last Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a leg injury. The Chiefs placed him on the injury report Wednesday with an ankle injury. He was limited.

We're not sure what's up with McCluster's injury or if it will cost him time this weekend. The Chiefs can get by without him, and likely plan on using him more down the stretch. so I can envision a scenario where he sits this weekend.

The injury comes at an unfortunate time as it appeared the Chiefs were making more of an effort to get McCluster involved in the offense. He's been a risky fantasy play because he hasn't been putting up many stats but he's one of those guys that can break a big run so he's going to be popular in fantasy football.

We should have a better idea of McCluster's status by Friday afternoon.
