Kansas City Chiefs WR/RB Dexter McCluster missed practice again on Thursday as he nurses an ankle injury. McCluster, who injured the ankle last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, didn't practice on Wednesday either.
The Chiefs appear to be making an emphasis on getting McCluster the ball more often so he's going to become a more viable fantasy football option. To this point he hasn't done much fantasy-wise. Last week was a career high in carries and receptions for him with nine total.
So will McCluster play on Sunday? Your guess is as good as mine at this point but he hasn't practiced in two days and, as a guy who makes lots of jukes on his ankles, has yet to practice on that injured ankle. It's seeming less likely he'll play with each missed practice.
I imagine if he doesn't practice on Friday he won't play on Sunday. The Chiefs will issue their final injury report on Friday.
