Chiefs' Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe Lead KC To Halftime Lead Over Buffalo Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking solid running the ball against the NFL's worst ranked rush defense, the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs take a 7-0 lead into halftime largely thanks for the quick legs of Jamaal Charles. The Chiefs RB is at it again averaging nearly 10 yards per carry with 86 rushing yards on nine attempts.

The Chiefs have been moving the ball well on the ground but drives have been stalling when the Chiefs are asked to pass. Matt Cassel is 7-of-13 for 71 yards at halftime.

The lone score of the day came on a one-yard TD pass from Cassel to Dwayne Bowe, who now has five TD catches in the last three games. Truly impressive, particularly from a fantasy football perspective.

The story of the day for the Chiefs is the defense which is looking strong. They're generating a consistent pass rush on Fitzpatrick and even forced a pair of fumbles. Tamba Hali is getting after Ryan Fitzpatrick with a sack and a half today. Hali has seven sacks on the season now.

At the end of the first half the Chiefs lead the Bills, 7-0.
