Maybe Dwayne Bowe is a good fantasy football receiver after all. We've been shying away from Bowe -- and all the Chiefs receivers for that matter -- because KC's passing offense hasn't been consistent. Over the last three games Bowe has done one thing consistently -- catch TD passes.
Bowe had two TD catches in each of the last two games. In the Buffalo game on Sunday, Bowe has one TD but just nine yards receiving at this point in the fourth quarter. He's been targeted four times catching two of them. Matt Cassel has just 79 passing yards at this point and has completed just 8-of-15 passing. That explains Bowe's lack of presence in receiving yards.
Dwayne Bowe is becoming an option for your fantasy football team. He's still far too inconsistent but five TDs in three games is no joke. He's not getting a ton of yards but clearly there's something about Bowe that Matt Cassel likes, particularly in the red zone where he targeted Bowe on his one-yard TD pass.
