Jay Cutler Gets Most Sacks In A Game; And We Think Matt Cassel Holds Onto The Ball?

New, 1 comment

Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel gets criticized at times in Kansas City for holding onto the ball too long during the play leading to more sacks.

This year, the Chiefs are doing a much, much better job against the rush as only a couple of quarterbacks have been sacked less than Cassel this year.

Then there's Jay Cutler.

↵

The Bears quarterback was sacked nine times in the first half -- a NFL record -- and 10 times overall.

↵

He was knocked out of the game on Sunday Night Football leading to Todd Collins (who was then knocked out).

So when you think Cassel's tendency to hold onto the ball too long -- remember, it could always be worse.
