The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders will meet on Sunday at the Oakland -Alameda Coliseum. The Chiefs are fairly healthy with what appears as just one player in danger of missing the game. The Raiders on the other hand have a handful of players who could be out.
Here's the Chiefs injury report:
Limited: WR Dexter McCluster, S Kendrick Lewis
Full: G Ryan Lilja
It sounds like Lilja is on the path to play Sunday. He was out last week with a hand injury. It's also sounding like Lewis will play. He was talking this week as if he were going to play on Sunday so his hamstring injury can't be too bad. Then there's McCluster. We're not sure where he stands although initial reports suggested he would be out a couple of weeks. I wouldn't count on him to play.
The Raiders had nine players on Thursday's injury report. Here are the big names:
Did not practice: CB Nnamdi Asomugha, TE Zach Miller
Asomugha was reported to have a high ankle sprain. If that's the case, you can all but rule him out on Sunday. Raiders head coach Tom Cable has yet to rule Asomugha out. Miller on the other hand is expected to play even though he's been in pain with an injury this week. Both of these guys are key players for Raiders and would be significant losses.
Both teams will issue their final injury reports on Friday.
