SB Nation has released its Week 10 NFL power rankings and the Kansas City Chiefs hold a familiar spot over at No. 13. The Chiefs, since they started 3-0, have hovered around the top 10. They've been pretty consistently beating the teams they should and keeping it close with the other contenders like the Colts and Texans.
On the latest set of power rankings, I've got the Chiefs behind the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders beat the Chiefs 23-20 on Sunday, and stand just a half-game back, so it's not a stretch to put them ahead of the Chiefs, You add in that the Raiders have now won four of five games, and this is a team that's earned the No. 12 spot. As a Chiefs fan, it pains me to type that.
At No. 11 are the Titans (5-3) and No. 10 the Eagles (5-3). With the Chiefs coming off of a loss, I don't think they should have been ahead of either of those teams. The rest of the rankings go like this: Saints, Falcons, Giants, Colts, Patriots, Steelers, Jets, Packers and Ravens. All those teams deserve to be ahead of the Chiefs.
The teams behind the Chiefs, starting with No. 14: Bucs, Chargers, Texans, Dolphins, Bears and Redskins.
Here's the list of teams ahead of the Chiefs:
13. Kansas City Chiefs (5-3)
12. Oakland Raiders (5-4)
11. Tennessee Titans (5-3)
10. Philadelphia Eagles (5-3)
