As many of you fantasy football players know Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe was on fire heading into last week's game against the Denver Broncos. He was leading the league in touchdown receptions and he and QB Matt Cassel seemed to be on a different level than everyone else.
Bowe was facing a serious test against CB Champ Bailey on the Broncos, one of the best corners in the league.
Apparently, Bailey tells ESPN's Mark Schlereth that his brother, Boss Bailey, had Bowe in fantasy football last week. So Champ says he should bench him and Boss said no way. The result, as I'm sure many of you know, wasn't pretty for Bowel -- 0 catches, 0 yards, 0 points. It was the first time since Nov. 4, 2007 that Bowe had been held to without a catch.
The Broncos this weekend play Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals. Fantasy advice on Fitz?
By the way Champ also said he didn't want to give away the game plan but said he would be locked up on Fitz! Take appropriate action owners
After last week, that may not be a bad idea.
