Denver Broncos Will Face AFC's Best Player In November

When the Denver Broncos visit Arrowhead Stadium to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they'll be going against the AFC's best offensive player -- at least over the last month. The Chiefs announced on Thursday that QB Matt Cassel has been awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Month award.

Cassel's numbers over the last month are incredibly impressive: 62.5 percent completion, 1,111 yards, 12 touchdowns and one interception. In the last seven games, he's thrown 18 touchdown passes and just one interception. It's almost unbelievable.

Meanwhile there's an argument that Cassel hasn't even been the best player on his team. WR Dwayne Bowe leads all NFL receivers with 14 touchdown receptions including a ridiculous run of 13 in his last seven games. There's a case that he's been the best offensive player over the last month.

But, if it's Cassel they pick, it's as good of a choice as any. He's been on fire lately and the KC Chiefs will try to continue that on Sunday against the Broncos.
