Denver Broncos Vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Dexter McCluster Is 'Definitely' Playing

New, 1 comment

The Kansas City Chiefs haven't seen WR Dexter McCluster on the field since Oct. 24 but it appears that will be changing soon. McCluster tells Kent Babb of the KC Star that he's "definitely" playing this weekend and the coaches have told him as much.

This means that KC's offense will get an extra boost to it....not that they need it.

KC's offense has been absolutely on fire lately. In McCluster's absence they've scored 13, 20, 29, 31 and 42 points so they can put up points without him. But it won't hurt to see McCluster's return by any means. Just his presence on the field makes defenses keep an eye on him which could open things up for other Chiefs receivers and running backs.

Before McCluster's injury, we heard some players say they wanted to get him involved even more. In Week 4, he had three touches. In Week 5, he had five touches. In Week 6, he had a career high nine touches.

We'll see where he stands in Week 13.
