There are still plenty of NFL playoff scenarios that can happen but it looks like, IF the Kansas City Chiefs make the playoffs, they'll be playing one of these four teams -- Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers and New York Jets. We looked over each of those games and I concluded that, of those four teams, the Jets would be the best matchup for the Chiefs.
As it turns out, Chiefs fans agree. In a poll at Arrowhead Pride, over 70 percent of Chiefs fans said they would prefer to play the Jets over the Steelers, Ravens and Chargers.
Why?
It always comes down to the quarterback in my mind. You want to play the team with the quarterback most likely to make mistakes and that would be Mark Sanchez. Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco and Philip Rivers are, in my opinion, better than Sanchez so I can see where Chiefs fans are coming from on that one.
We're still a few weeks away from determining who will play who but it's looking more and more like it'll be the Jets. If both New York and Baltimore win out, the Ravens would win on the head-to-head tiebreaker meaning the Jets would be the sixth seed and they'd come to Kansas City.
