2011 NFL mock drafts are coming in with the 2010 NFL season coming down to the end which means it's a chance to see who the Kansas City Chiefs might pick up and who might be picked up from area schools including the Missouri Tigers, Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats.
SB Nation's Mocking The Draft has their top 200 prospects out and the guy I want to see in red, Alabama WR Julio Jones, is ranked No. 6. He's a freak of an athlete and I imagine he'll be gone by the time the Chiefs come up to pick.If the Chiefs do go with a receiver -- and there's no evidence they will -- a guy like Notre Dame WR Malcolm Floyd or Pittsburgh WR Jonathan Baldwin may be a more realistic option.
The top ranked player is Georgia WR A.J. Green followed by Stanford QB Andrew Luck. Auburn QB Cam Newton comes in at No. 10.
Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert is ranked No 86 on the list if he decides to come out. He has a tough choice ahead of him but my early prediction is that he's returning. At 6'5" and 240 pounds, he's got the size that other Mizzou QBs like Chase Daniel didn't have.
Kansas State RB Daniel Thomas comes in at No. 140. He's got good size and will make some team very happy I imagine. He'll be a good value.
Nebraska CB Prince Amukamara is ranked No. 9 and he'll be up there with LSU's Patrick Peterson as the top cornerback taken.
