Titans Vs. Chiefs Game Not Guaranteed To Be Televised

The Kansas City Chiefs enter Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans in must-win mode as they hold a one game lead over the San Diego Chargers with two more to play. And it's possible the game isn't shown on TV.

Chiefs COO Mark Donovan appeared on 810 WHB Wednesday and indicated the Chiefs have yet to sell enough tickets to avoid a blackout for the game.

My guess is that the game will eventually sell out and it'll be televised. But that's not a guarantee...yet. You can buy tickets at the Chiefs website or Ticketmaster.

I understand why they're having trouble selling tickets. You can always use the economy as an excuse because it is expensive to go to a game. That and the high is expected to be 30 degrees on Sunday so the weather isn't ideal (or for football fanatics it is ideal).

A sellout is important for football reasons. The Chiefs are one of three teams who are undefeated at home so clearly the home crowd is doing something right. The Chiefs defense averages an NFL low 12.2 points given up per game at home.

They've got two more left to get into the playoffs. The question now is whether you'll be able to watch it on TV.
