The Kansas City Chiefs made a couple of roster moves before Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs announced CB Mike Richardson has been released. Richardson was signed last month with some injuries in the secondary but, with the Chiefs now getting healthy, his services are no longer needed. The Chiefs also announced the arrival of WR Quinten Lawrence, who is just coming off the practice squad.
Lawrence has been part of the practice squad all year so he should know the Chiefs offense if asked to play. If he is active on Sunday then it could be as a return man as he has 16 career kick returns.
It's also possible he was signed because the Chiefs didn't want to expose him on the practice squad late in the year. Practice squad players can sign with other teams.
We'll see if Lawrence is active today but it seems to make more sense that he'd be inactive.
