2011 Pro Bowl Snubs: Brandon Flowers, Tamba Hali Near The Top

The 2011 Pro Bowl rosters were released and we found three Kansas City Chiefs players on the roster -- WR Dwayne Bowe, RB Jamaal Charles and G Brian Waters. All three were very deserving and ranked well among their peers so it's not a huge surprise that any of those guys made it.

But what about the Chiefs that didn't make it? LB Tamba Hali and CB Brandon Flowers have to be near the top for biggest snubs.

Hali was a consistent force with his hurries and pressures on the quarterback. He's one of those relentless guys that you can't take for granted throughout the course of the game. His consistency is his best trait. He has 12 sacks on the season which is two behind the NFL leader Cameron Wake.

I didn't think Flowers had a great shot to make it but I didn't think Patriots' Devin McCourty would beat him out (although he is deserving as well). Nnamdi Asomugha and Darrelle Revis have a hold on the top two spots since they're now the big names at the position (and they're both very good) but I figured Flowers should be considered for that final cornerback spot. Instead it went to McCourty in New England. Both players are deserving so this is tough but Flowers not making it is unfortunate because he had a really good season .

Other Chiefs that could have been considered include G Ryan Lilja, LB Derrick Johnson and S Eric Berry.
