The Kansas City Chiefs are barely hanging onto a fourth quarter lead against the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Broncos just kicked a field goal to make it 10-6 in favor of the good guys.
The Chiefs are lucky to get out of the third quarter alive. Chiefs OT Barry Richardson was flagged a couple of times and eventually yanked off the field. When he hit the sidelines he screamed at and shoved an assistant coach on the sidelines. Richardson walked down the sideline before a coach came back to grab him and get him back in the game.
Also in the third quarter the Chiefs drove down to the two-yard line of the Broncos but elected to go for it on fourth down and Matt Cassel was sacked on the play.
WR Dexter McCluster took a third quarter handoff and fumbled the ball giving it back to the Broncos.
Overall, the third quarter wasn't a pretty one for KC. But they still lead 10-6 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
