Chiefs vs. 49ers: Figuring Out San Francisco's Biggest Weakness

The Kansas City Chiefs will meet the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday inside Arrowhead Stadium.

For the Chiefs, they need to avoid their biggest weakness which is putting the ball in Matt Cassel's hands. If the game comes down to the Chiefs offense, it could be some trouble for Kansas City.

For the 49ers, we looked to David Fucillo of Niners Nation to find out the 49ers biggest weakness.

I'd actually argue that game management is the biggest weakness. Every unit of the 49ers offense and defense have shown impressive skills at one time or another. Inconsistency is a big problem and explains why the 49ers aren't solid week in and week out. However, one consistency I've noticed is that when it comes to timeouts and personnel packages and the like, the 49ers have a lot of work to do.

And while I'm a big fan of Coach Singletary, he's got a lot of work to do in improving his game management skills. He can fire up the troops from here to doomsday, but if he's blowing timeouts or his assistants aren't getting the right personnel packages on the field, the team will be constantly shooting itself in the foot.

This is good news considering this game is expected to be close. Having game management problems inside loud Arrowhead Stadium...yeah, not a good combination. This is something to keep an eye on as the Chiefs face the 49ers on Sunday.
