Kansas City Chiefs Defense Really Is That Good

Through three games I think we're starting to realize that, maybe, the Kansas City Chiefs defense is that good.

↵

The Chiefs currently stand at second in the NFL in points given up per game at just under 13 and seem to be coming up with critical plays at critical times.

↵

Here's a good stat that shows how effective the Chiefs defense has been, courtesy Chiefs PR:

↵
↵

No team has forced more three-and-outs (12) or a higher percentage of three-and-outs (30.8%) this season than the Chiefs.

↵
↵

They're getting the opposing offenses off the field at a high rate and they're not allowing many points.

Things could be going a lot worse for the Chiefs defense.
