Kansas City Chiefs WR Dexter McCluster
Rushing: 4 carries, 2 yards, 0 TDs
Receiving: 5 receptions, 78 yards, 1 TD
Through three weeks: A tale of two McClusters would be an accurate way to put it. In the first two games, he was invisible on offense with 12 total yards. We know he has the talent but the Chiefs hadn't featured him on the offense. In Week 3, he came alive with 69 yards receiving including a touchdown. The Chiefs, I think, are going to figure out how to get him the ball more.
Advice: I think McClusters on the rise at this point. He showed the Chiefs what he could do last week against the 49ers with a superb 31-yard catch and run for a touchdown. The Chiefs know they need playmakers and have shown a willingness to be a little risky so I suspect McClusters touches increase in the coming weeks. Still, though, he's been non-existent in a couple of the games on offense so you may want to wait him out and see how the Chiefs are going to use him.
