Chiefs Loss Means Kansas City Bridge Can Be Demolished

New, 1 comment

The Kansas City Chiefs lost last weekend to the Baltimore Ravens ending their season. While that's not exactly good news for most Kansas Citians, it does mean one group can now do their job. The city was waiting for the Chiefs final home game to demolish a bridge near the stadium -- Blue Ridge Cutoff bridge off I-70.

Officials didn't want to do the demolition until the Chiefs were officially eliminated because there was a possibility of the Chiefs playing the AFC Championship game at home if they beat the Ravens last weekend.

Now that the Chiefs season is over, the bridge will be demolished on Friday.
