NFL Playoffs: Jets-Steelers Continues Rematch Theme Into AFC Championship Game

This year's NFL playoffs have given us a couple of excellent rematches including a third meeting for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets vs. New England Patriots. The Steelers and Jets both won pitting them in a matchup next Sunday in Pittsburgh.

And of course this is a rematch. The Jets went into Pittsburgh on Dec. 19 and beat the Steelers, 22-17. So we know the Jets can win. After beating Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in consecutive weeks, we know the Jets can beat anyone.

The Steelers and the NFL's best defense continued on against the Ravens on Saturday so this will be an excellent matchup of the NFL's best defenses.

The game will take place at 5:30 p.m. (CT) on CBS next Sunday.

The Steelers will likely be slightly favored at home. This is their 15th AFC Championship game in the last 40 years and sixth in the last 11 years. They've been here before. The Jets were in the AFC Championship game last year but lost to the Indianapolis Colts.
