Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe was missing from the early portion of practice that was available to the media. We're not sure what's going on but there must be something happening if Bowe is missing part of a practice during playoff week.
The Chiefs also signed WR Kevin Curtis on Wednesday -- before the news of Bowe's practice absent was out -- so it's possible that factors in as well, though it's hard to envision a scenario where Curtis will be playing this weekend.
If something is wrong with Bowe and he's not around this weekend, that would obviously be among the worst case scenarios for the Chiefs. But, as of right now, we don't know what's going on so we'll update when we know.
Bowe is one of three Chiefs Pro Bowlers and lead the NFL this season in touchdown receptions.
