Chiefs Vs. Chargers: Kansas City Can Make Recent NFL History With Fourth Straight Win

The Kansas City Chiefs can place themselves in rare company with a win against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football. With their miserable start, very few teams have been able to turn things around. But the NFL released some stats today that make you realize just how amazing the turnaround under head coach Todd Haley really is.

“The Kansas City Chiefs started the season 0-3 and have won their past three games,” says the NFL’s statement. “With a win on Monday Night Football against AFC West rival San Diego, Kansas City can become the first team since the 2000 Pittsburgh Steelers to start a season 0-3 and win its next four games.”

If that’s the case, then you have to feel good about the Chiefs chances to turn things around for a potential playoff spot. The next two games are against the Dolphins and Broncos, so a 6-3 record is very possible heading into the toughest part of the schedule. Here’s hoping KC makes recent history.
