Kansas City Vs. San Diego: Chiefs Win With A Field Goal In OT, 23-20

Ryan Succop kicked a 30-yard field goal to seal Kansas City's shocking overtime comeback after San Diego quarterback Phillip Rivers muffed a snap just a play before the Chargers would've kicked a winning field goal with time expiring in the fourth quarter.

Matt Cassel finished 19 of 32 for 261 yards for 1 TD and 2 INTs, and led an offense that couldn't convert a first down in the second half until midway into the fourth quarter, and was outgained by the Chargers almost double throughout the night.

Rivers threw for 369 yards and the Chargers backup running back Curtis Brinkley emerged with 43 yards rushing and 24 yards receiving after starter Ryan Matthews left the game with a hamstring injury. Kansas City was able to stop San Diego in the red zone on drive after drive, never trailing.

The Chargers' only shot at taking the lead - and the win -would come before the Rivers fumble, as San Diego took the ball at the K.C. 48 and drove to the Chiefs' 15-yard-line with a minute remaining.
