NFL Power Rankings: Kansas City Chiefs Sit At No. 16 At NFL.com's Power Poll

The Kansas City Chiefs are beginning to earn the respect of NFL writers everywhere with the ascension of the team to the top of both the AFC West standings and various Power Rankings that come out on Tuesdays. The NFL.com official Power Poll released this morning has the Chiefs at No. 16 overall, tied with biggest jump in the standings from No. 20 with the Philadelphia Eagles (who moved from No. 19 to No. 15).

The Chiefs won a thrilling yet sloppy Monday Night Football game last night against the San Diego Chargers to sit in a first place tie in the division alongside San Diego and the Oakland Raiders, who had their bye week this week. That makes four in a row for the Chiefs who started at 0-3 and it completes one of the most amazing turnarounds to a season in recent NFL history. Todd Haley, who was once on the hot seat reportedly, now has to be an early candidate for Coach of the Year.
