The AFC West is a tight race with only a difference of 1.5 games from first to last place the Oakland Raiders currently are leading the division by a half game, but that is due to playing on Thursday night and winning. If the Chiefs wins they will be in a tie with first place with the Raiders and if the Broncos win there will be a three-way tie for second place.
The Chiefs are coming off of an embarrassing 31-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins while the Broncos have won two games in a row which includes a win against those Dolphins. The line on this game opened at 3.5-points favoring the home Chiefs, according to OddsShark and it has not moved. The over/under on this game opened at 42.5 and has fallen to 41 points as the week progressed.
The Broncos have been an inconsistent team since Tim Tebow took over as their starting quarterback by going 2-1 with wins over the Dolphins and Raiders, but they were blown out by the Detroit Lions two weeks ago. So, it is unclear exactly what type of performance the Broncos will present against the Chiefs.
