Ryan Clady Injury Update: Broncos Left Tackle Treated On Field Against Chiefs

The good news for the Broncos is that their star left tackle — and one of the best in the NFL — Ryan Clady was able to walk off the field of his own volition. That said, the Denver Broncos, who have had to rely heavily on the rush all day, will be without his services for at least a bit after he suffered an apparent injury here in the third quarter of the Denver Broncos-Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Without Clady, that removes the Broncos strongest asset at this point. Willis McGahee, Knowshon Moreno and Tim Tebow have all provided solid stats in the Denver running game and it’s clear that Clady is key to that success. Tim Tebow is 0 for 5 passing on the day and that’s bad even for Tebow’s below-average passing standards. The Broncos still have the lead, but losing Clady hurts more than any other player they could have lost.
