For those looking for some fantasy football advice, the word is ‘sit him’ when it comes to quarterback Tyler Palko of the Kansas City Chiefs. The reason is that you’d likely have to drag his name up from the free agent wire and even add him in the first place to your roster in order to start him. And Eric Mack of Sports Illustrated says that’s not a wise move.
“This would have been a great week to consider Cassel and all of his weapons. Instead, it is a week to expect Palko in his first NFL start to fall flat on his face. The Pats are the worst team in fantasy against QBs and WRs, but Palko just shouldn’t be trusted. He might not even take long to give with to Ricky Stanzi.”
In Palko’s first start, the stakes could not be higher. The Chiefs, with a loss, will fall even further back in the AFC West in which every other team is remaining at .500 and staying competitive. Even the Broncos are resurgent, so the Chiefs can ill afford to lose any ground. Then again, it’s hard to see Palko doing anything but that against a team like the Pats.
