If the names sound familiar, that's because they are. The best in the NFL continue to perform while the rest of playoff hopefuls continue to beat each other up, leaving a very clear line between those who are truly elite teams and the rest of the league. Of course, there are differences between the teams in the middle and at the bottom, but nothing is as glaring as the difference between the Packers and the rest of the NFL.
In this week's NFL Power Rankings, the Packers, 49ers, Ravens and Saints are tabbed as the four best teams in the league by SB Nation this week. The Packers are 10-0 and on their way to conversations about another perfect season in the NFL books. The 49ers are a great story with only one loss on their record and new head coach Jim Harbaugh is an easy win for Coach of the Year. However, the Harbaugh brothers, Jim and John, will face each other this week in the 49ers-Ravens match-up that should be one of the best games of the year so far.
The Ravens and Saints have both laid eggs, but for the most part they've beaten enough opponents to earn the respect of everyone in their respective divisions. It will still be tight, but for now they stand alone atop other contenders like the Steelers, Bengals and Falcons respectively.
