Dwayne Bowe, the Kansas Chiefs star WR, had an impressive game against New England in Tyler Palko's first career start, but it won't be as easy against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense:
Bowe may have posted a respectable stat line (7-87-0 on 9 targets) in his first game with quarterback Tyler Palko under center, but those numbers came against a New England Patriots defense that ranks dead last in the NFL against the pass. It’s a different story in Week 12, as Bowe will have to face a Pittsburgh Steelers team that currently ranks third in the NFL against the pass (183.2 yds/gm) and is limiting opposing wideouts to only 15.3 fantasy points per game this season (3rd-fewest in NFL). We advise you to look for another option.
To give Palko a chance to find Bowe in the passing game, the Chiefs will have to block the dominant pass-rushing duo of Lamarr Woodley and James Harrison, who have combined for 14 sacks as OLB's in the Steelers 3-4 scheme.
