The Dolphins received a bit of an offensive boost today in the running game as Daniel Thomas was announced as an active today in Kansas City against the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Thomas has only played in four games so far for the Dolphins, but the rookie has carried it 75 times for 302 yards for a 4.0 rushing average. Joining Bush, the duo makes the Miami backfield much more dynamic.
As for Thomas, today’s game against the Chiefs is a bit of a homecoming since he played his college football at Kansas State. It’s a good time for the Miami back to make his presence felt a bit more, but the odds are stacked against him on the road against a resurgent Chiefs squad that now sits in first place in the AFC West. As for the Dolphins, they’re either secretly hoping for Andrew Luck or aiming for their first win in a miserable season.
