Kansas City Chiefs Inactive List, Week 9: Javier Arenas Out, Let Dexter McCluster Cook

With the release of the Kansas City Chiefs inactive list, one name appeared that will have an impact on two parts of head coach Toddy Haley's team. Defense and special teams.

Javier Arenas will be inactive for Sunday's game versus the Miami Dolphins due to an ankle injury. The loss of Arenas' will be felt primarily on the Chiefs nickel-package and in the return game. Look for Dexter McCluster to assume return duties on special teams.

The knocks on the secondary keep coming, as starting safety Jon McGraw will also be out due to a shoulder injury. Travis Daniels will be the one called in to fill McGraw's place.
