Matt Williamson of Scouts, Inc. has developed his midseason list of the NFL's top 50 players and the Kansas City Chiefs' Tamba Hali has made the list at No. 25. Given the Chiefs up and down season, it's hard to tell just how respected the Chiefs players are, but Williamson continues to think highly of Hali. Willamson writes, "To me, Hali is the second-best pass-rusher in the league. And unlike many of the best edge rushers in the NFL, Hali doesn't have another great player on the opposite side to attract attention from opposing protection schemes." Former Chiefs DE Jared Allen made the list at No. 14. Derrick Johnson and Brandon Flowers are mentioned as just having missed the list.
