There’s no hotter name in the country than Robert Griffin III when analyzing NFL Draft prospects for 2012. The Baylor quarterback had an incredible season with only a bowl game left and he’s already among the frontrunners for tonight’s Heisman Trophy finalists — a move no one could have seen coming before the season began. And now everyone loves his draft stock as well, placing him among the top quarterbacks in the draft.
Charlie Campbell of Walter Football loves him and says, “Griffin has been one of the biggest stars in college football this season. He carried Baylor to thrilling wins over Oklahoma, Kansas and TCU. Griffin has displayed a strong arm and good mobility. Plus, his accuracy has been phenomenal on passes to the short, intermediate, and deep part of the field. He is extremely intelligent off the field and that translates to good decision making on the field. Thus far in 2011, Griffin has completed 72 percent of his passes for 3,998 yards with 36 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has also rushed for 644 yards and nine touchdowns.”
In the end, Campbell has Griffin III listed as a Top 15 pick in next year’s draft.
