Kansas City radio personality Nick Wright is claiming that the Tyler Palko era ended with the reign of Todd Haley, and that interim head coach Romeo Crennel will start free agent signee Kyle Orton against the Packers on Sunday.
SB Nation Kansas City's Matt Conner endorsed the move to Orton over Palko, and a fan poll at Arrowhead Pride has Orton leading the pack with 49% of the vote. The free agent from Denver has yet to see significant time for K.C. this season. With the Broncos, Orton threw for 979 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions with a 58.7 completion percentage.
