Despite a turbulent season, the Kansas City Chiefs are still alive in the AFC playoff race with just two games remaining although their margin for error is small. At 6-8, the Chiefs need three things to happen to take the AFC West title. SB Nation Chiefs blog Arrowhead Pride outlines the details:
1. The Chiefs have to win their last two games against the Raiders and Broncos.
2. The Bills have to beat the Broncos next week.
3. The Chargers lose once in their next two games
New England holds down the top spot in the conference and is followed by Pittsburgh and Houston. Currently Denver is holding down the No. 4 seed. Baltimore has clinched at least one wildcard spot while the New York Jets currently sit in the sixth and final playoff position. The Jets hold the tie breaker over the Cincinnati Bengals.
