The Chicago Bears are likely to start Caleb Hanie at quarterback in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs. And yet the Bears are eight-point favorites over the Chiefs for their Sunday showdown at Soldier Field, according to our friends at Odds Shark.
Hanie, replacing the injured Jay Cutler, struggled mightily in Week 12, completing just 18 of 36 passes for 254 yards and throwing three interceptions to go with two touchdowns. But Hanie might be the better starting quarterback this weekend, thanks to the Chiefs' similar injury problems.
Tyler Palko, typically Matt Cassel's backup, has started the Chiefs' last two games. And he's thrown six interceptions over those two games. Suddenly, Caleb Hanie doesn't look so bad, does he?
