The Kansas City Chiefs are among several teams looking for a new head coach and a number of names have already surfaced for the gig. From Josh McDaniels to Jeff Fisher, current young assistant coaches and former veteran head coaches have all been mentioned at least to one degree or another as Todd Haley's long term replacement, including current interim head coach Romeo Crennel. Apparently one wish list level name will not be available after all, despite the rumors to the contrary.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Andy Reid will remain with the Philadelphia Eagles this next year even after many have called for a major change in Philly given the Eagles' inability to win the NFC West this year. In the preseason, you might remember that the Eagles were considered the team to beat and backup quarterback Vince Young even called them the dream team. Unfortunately for Philadelphia fans, they've endured a nightmare season.
Reid will apparently be back, but undoubtedly changes will be made on the coaching staff.
