Chiefs Vs. Bears: Anthony Adams Going To Miss Second Consecutive Game

The Chicago Bears will be missing a key member of their defensive interior on Sunday for the second consecutive game as Anthony Adams is reportedly not going to be available for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson reports that Adams and D.J. Moore will both be unavailable for the game:

Adams will be listed as questionable after he suffered a back injury in the middle of the week, which kept the defensive lineman off the practice field on Thursday and Friday. He was inactive last week in Oakland as the Bears opted to dress a fellow defensive tackle Matt Toeaina, instead of Adams.

Meantime, nickel back D.J. Moore is questionable to return to action this weekend after missing the previous two games due to a sprained ankle. If Moore is inactive for the third consecutive week, Corey Graham will once again handle the nickel duties versus Kansas City. The Bears defense hasn’t missed a beat with Graham, who has intercepted a pass in each of the last three contests while filling in for Moore.

Adams has only 12 tackles on the season so far, but he’s definitely a large force on the front line of a defense that misses his presence.
