The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Chicago Bears while riding a four-game losing streak and have an uphill battle to earn a playoff spot. Playing the Bears who are starting Caleb Hanie as their quarterback could be a relief for the Chiefs. In Hanie's first start he ended up throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns, but he also had three interceptions in a 25-20 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
The Bears also could be giving more playing time to backup running back Marion Barber against the Chiefs on Sunday. It makes sense to give more carries to Barber so that the Bears do not have to rely Hanie leading them to victory and can use Hanie as a game manager.
