The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has not had the season as expected and with starting quarterback Matt Cassel out for the year, Bowe's numbers have taken a dip.
CBS Sports takes a closer look at Bowe's potential success:
Production has fallen off since the Week 6 bye, and Matt Cassel's season-ending broken hand has not helped matters. Bowe has not scored a touchdown in six straight games, including the last two, which have been started by QB Tyler Palko. With Palko reportedly having a strong chance of taking the reins again in Week 13, it could be another week of mediocre production for Bowe. That is especially the case, since he will be facing a Bears defense that has been loathe to allow wide receivers into the end zone. Though the Bears' passing defense ranks just 30th, only the Browns have allowed wide receivers to haul in fewer touchdown passes, as the Bears have allowed only five all season.
SB Nation's Fake Teams have Bowe as one of the players that they do not like and have him ranked at No. 22. Over at numberFire they have Bowe ranked No. 23.
