Matt Forte Injury Update: Bears RB Out For Remainder Of Game Vs. Chiefs

When it rains it pours in Chicago. First it was Jay Cutler, now is it Matt Forte? The Bears running back left Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an apparent right knee injury.

Per the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora twitter account:

Matt Forte out for the day, and perhaps longer, with a knee injury. Yikes.

The Bears tailback was running the ball to the left side when his right foot planted in the field when Chiefs star linebacker Derrick Johnson tackled him on his right knee. Forte immediately went to the sideline and had his knee checked by the Chicago Bears' medical staff.

For a man who has laid his season literally on the line, you can only keep your fingers crossed that Forte will be able to return for Chicago for the remainder of the season and beyond.
