It's Tuesday morning, which means you'll just now begin to see the latest NFL Power Rankings coming out all over the place. The Kansas City Chiefs won on Sunday, but they're not bound to move too much considering they're still 5-7 and their offense came courtesy of a desperation Hail Mary at the end of the first half. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk notes this and says, "When a team’s most effective play is the Hail Mary, that’s a problem."
The Chiefs are currently tied for last place in the AFC West, but yet they only sit two games behind the leader of the division at 7-5 in the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders. Considering that the Chiefs last two games are against these teams, then there's still a chance if the Chiefs defense can somehow surprise the Green Bay Packers or at least frustrate Rex Ryan's team enough to sneak out a win against the New York Jets. Neither are likely but this season has been unpredictable enough as it is.
